Question Tie Bar & Anti Sway Bar Question

    Question.

On my buddies EF, there is no room to but both the rear lower tie/strut bar and his rear (larger) antisway bar. He claims that its not doable.

I don't see how this is possible. Surely there are rear anti sway bars out there that have in mind that you'd also want to put on a tie bar.

Anyone know anything on the subject? THanks.

I have an ST rear sway bar with a Neuspeed rear lower tie bar. The exhaust is more in the way than the tie bar is.

Any way you can take a pic and e-mail it to me (or alternately post it up)? I'd like to see.

oh I like it. If you come into a corner too fast you will get oversteer, especially when you lift the throttle to try to scrub off speed. Caught me off guard. It's 22mm.

Nice, 1mm bigger than the DC2 ITR.... only the car weighs 500lb less.

Are you running a ST front? Or did you remain stock?

It's all driver preference man, I'm running a stock HF in the front of my Si.

Really, none of us need to do anything to our cars.... *ahem* unless your name is 90 ZC Hatch, in which case you just need to take the plunge and drop a B series powerhouse into your car.

lololol i'm workin on it. If i give my dad a grand then he'll give me his motor and buy a b18c5, but he has to get the money first, and i need to decide if i want to put a b16 in my current EF, or put it in another EF.

I think the answer is obvious...

I'd just hate to dump all that money into my EF. I'll probably do that when i get another car. I've always wanted like an 00' Si civic. so if i could get one of those then keep my EF as a project car, then i'd proally turbo the ZC or somethin

00 Si civics are overrated and far too common.

Nicely kept EFs are far and few in between. Sure, they're all over the place; but one that is in very good shape, and well thought out is truly hard to find.

Around roswell I only see maybe 1-2 a week, excluding my freinds that I see on a regular basis. EFs are getting more and more rare.

actually, the usdm itr is 22mm and the jdm itr is 23mm:

AND the ST rear swaybar is 19mm iirc, but is has three different stiffness settings. I have this same bar on my ef.

My ST rear bar is definitely 22mm. And yeah, it does have 3 settings.
