I don't think the turnout would be very good on a weekday. Most of us have to work, go to school, etc. I have an extended weekend for Veteran's Day, Nov 10-12. Makes it easier to dedicate a whole day to an EF Squad event.

Why did we choose so late?
Couple reasons. We said we'd do a mountain run before the year was up for the fall-time when the leaves change. If we do a meet here in the next 3 weeks, people won't have time to get off. 2-5weeks from now, the leaves won't be changed. 5+weeks from now and it'd be pointless to have ANOTHER meet JUST for a mountain run.
Why did we choose to do an all-day event? People from far away, such as (why can I never remember his name...homeboy from Clemson) aren't REALLY gonna wanna drive 2+ hours for a 3-hour meet. If they come out, they'll wanna make it worth their while. Granted...30minutes with the any/all of Dare, myself, JFRO and BTLFED is worth probably 50$ at the Fox Theatre...some beg to differ. Everyone seems to like all day events.
Why have we pushed so long before having another meet? In order to pull off all-day events...people CAN'T be getting tired of coming out to them. If we did an all-day event once a month, it'd be like the Varsity where alot of kids would only come maybe 4times a year.
In addition to why we pushed so far back on this event...everyone's going to need about 50$ (give or take) put into the pot as a deposit for Andretti speed lab. The packages I'll discuss later, but they're for groups of 10+ or 20+ (to be vague) and the best packages range 40-65$ a person. I'd like to get everyone's deposits BEFORE the night so we know how many are coming. All in all the day would probably run people 65-100$ (give or take) once you add in gas, food, andretti, tires, accidents leaving pizza parlors, and running 4000 on the tach to do 85mph on the interstate.

i vote 3, go camp out at lake winfield scott, so you have mountain roads, a good lake to fish/swim what could be better ! i would say go camp at dicks creek but i dont think a ef squad member could get up there so i say x on that one ! lol
