mountain run ONLY if we have a big group... i'm really counting on the newer members and older members who didn't come to the last meet to show up this time.'

my #1 vote is mountain run, and #2 would be a photo shoot, sum driving shots and stuff and then maybe a cookout and just chill....dont have a #3, but those are my suggestions.

I'll put it this way. I told the two mangers (and owners) of the shop what kind of roll I play as far as turning heads, being in contact with people, and attending car events in the southeast, SCCA/AutoCross, mountain runs, car clubs in the area, and nationally, as well as being one of the main (by this I mean taking charge, and being active) member of the EF Squad of IA, former second-in-charge of a car club, and being in close contact with two other major car clubs in the area....the idea of making my car look good has caught his attention. He originally wanted to cut the doors in half and make half-doors, and airbrush some stuff, and put holograms in it, and do some badass stuff that actually wasn't ricey...but I told him I didn't wanna catch eyes of cops, so we're having some arguements over how to do it. Both of these guys have been in the business for MANY years...so they know what colors mix well, and what colors go with what body lines, etc...

Anyone who gives enough of a shit about the squad to request off only needs about a month's notice. Granted, we have some people who can't do a damn thing about their job (such as if BTLFED's name is caught at work for that weekend, he CANNOT get off).

Tentative date also REALLY depends on what we do...I don't wanna swim in December, and I don't wanna be playing frisbee when it's 100degrees out with code red smog...

Keep in mind we can have a meet like...for example, tomorrow, and do another one here in about 2 months...LoL. So I say for now let's look to do something in (PLEASE NOTE, I'm not saying this is when the meet is...just suggesting) late september, and something again in like...november. The trees are pretty in the mountains if you catch them in time... Best time is after they've chaned colors, and before salt is on the roads.

And I think we'll have a bigger turnout this time. Some people have just found out about the squad, and will probably be eager to get to know some of us. Not to mention, with as well as the last event was organized (Thanks, Dare!) maybe people will consider this to be a more serious group to do stuff with. I think we'll exponentially grow the interest as we slowly grow in the number of people that turn out. "If you build it, they will come"

makes perfect sense ben. i've been telling people to come over to this forum when i find out they have an EF, thru pictures and stuff. I would not even be here if Guy hadn't told me about it when we met @ a red light one day...i'm so glad he did tell me though, because i got introduced to the EF squad and IA which let me meet new people to talk about cars w/ and shit

Anyway, i think we all need to take every chance we can to tell people about the EF squad, weather it be seeing sum1 w/ an Ef on the streets, or seeing sum1 @ BP, so seeing sum1 post pics or have shit about an Ef in their sig, or w/e.

Heh, mine's all stock. You don't need fancy aftermarket suspension to have fun on a mountain run. I managed to almost keep up with Ben and the new Mini on the mountain run, oh, and that was with a whopping 70whp.

Check your bushings... Also, get a hose and spray down your suspension pieces pretty well
