Congrats man!
The track record for Spec Miata was set by:
SpecMiata Mark Pombo Miata 1.44.808 2008-Mar-14
Thats 1.5 secs slower than me with a 1.43.3. I'm in a FWD, solid rear axle sentra with basic bolt ons and two blown shocks. And NO AERO. That Spec's motor cost $11K. My entire car cost $2,300.
Nothing comes close to us..
Here are the lap records for Lowes Superspeedway.

We're running TTS times.. in a TTE car. I'd say we're screaming.

TTS 154 Joel Vandiver Charger SRT8 1:26.8
TTB 20 Robert Miller Mustang Cobra 1:28.3
TTC 36 Gary Donaldson E36 M3 1:29.04

lol, look man, Im not ragging on you or your SE-R. i happen to like the SE-Rs. Like I said, thats a good time for a SE-R and congratulations on winning the NASA Championship(I crewed for the SM champ in 07)but that it nowhere close to what I would say is screaming around RA. Its screaming for you and your car, but not at RA.
as far as lap record for a SM, check your records again.

Congrats Joe!
Funny I use to see this little Sentra at Barber and what not and now it has it's National Championship. I'm going to have to credit the driver, and the competition for this win, as I did a private track day at Talladega with Joe and the Sentra was very well set up w/ a driver that knew how momentum cars work
Thanks for the props! What did you drive?! Help me remember![]()
