Sharp had a nasty wreck today. took them a few hours to repair the fencing. delayed our race today. though I was gonna have to strap some flashlights to the car.

pretty good day. That wreck was pretty bad haha. My friend got asked to me a "flag girl" for Realtime tomorrow! I told her to sleep with someone important up there and get me a job :P

Ill be up there at 8am tomorrow morning and camping out over by 10a-10b outside the track. If anyone is up there tomorrow , text me 404 234 8651 stop by have a beer!

The Jag IS at road atlanta, but no one has seen the car. Word is they were going to run one practice and the qualifier and if the car didnt do as planned, it would not see the race.

The picture of the BMW and the spec 722 is not because a BMW is keeping up, he just got passed. They combined the TC and GT field for practice sessions.

As for the crash, the wreck was in T2. The car flipped more than once (said to be 3 flips) and hit the fence ripping it right of the concrete wall. Scott is ok and no damage to the wall.

I got some updates too. But i'll need a visual confirmation from someone at the track. News is that the new Highcroft chassis should have been there this morning.

yup, we shared a private test day a couple of weeks ago. then got a real close up look and talked to an acquaintance at TRG about it.

in out right speed yes. on a racetrack with the same tires, no. it races against porsches, volvos, corvettes, vipers and mustangs. all highly modified though.

I got there Thursday morning for the photographer's meeting and from Thursday thru Saturday when they called the race, I took 6700 pictures.

I had photo credentials again this year.. w00t!

I got tons of pics of the race SLR, the 722 convertible road car and the Jag race car. It WAS supposed to debut but didn't. Saturdy about 12ish the Jag people were packing up and the car was covered.

Looks better in person though a lot of one color and nothing to break it up. I analyzed the damn thing for a long time, going between it and the X5 M. Acura ZDXhuh?? really makes me appreciate what BMW did here.


Did NOT want....analyzed this for awhile either..bulky, odd angles, lines, the rear is way to bland...it really left me cold
