I'm really not sure why the C5 are TTB. Usually, tires are what usually pushes the car to TTA. IIRC, the time trial base classes are loosely based on power to weight ratios with the stars being used to balance the classes. A better explanation might be provided by contact Greg Greenbaum, the national TT director. His contact info should be at nasaproracing.com.

"it's time you take that instructor clinic through NASA, it's normally held at Roebling Road." I told him I was looking into it but I hadn't really looked into it much.
Yeah, I'm a little bummed that we're not going to Roebling this season, but that was out of our control.

Check our schedule at the NASA-Southeast web site, there should be a listing beside each date showing what sessions are being offered. It looks like the last opportunity for Instructor Clinic 1 will at Road Atlatna in March. You can always e-mail registration and see what they have to say, though.

Yeah. It LS1 vette (not Z06) with coilovers, sways, T1 exhaust, CCW's with hoosiers, brake pads/lines/rotors/brake ducts, intake, and steering wheel, race seats, and roll bar. It has full interior.

Wow. That sounds like it could be into TTS, actually. You'd have to run the points and likely get a dyno sheet. But, I'm not a TT expert. I can put in touch with the people you need to talk to for getting the classing correct.

Will do. Won't make the March event, will probably have to wait until ya'll have another summer event. No rush, although I went from doing roughly 8-10 events a year to now about 4-6 because of my schedule load. Hope I don't get rusty!!! hahaha just playing.
