is it better to hook a a/f gauge straight to the O2 sensor or the ECU and what wire the white on O2 or the A6 pin on ecu? is that correct?
SLEEP, EAT, RACE
Get a wideband. Waste of time and money with one of those narrowband light show gauges. You couldn't pay me to put one of them in my car.
If that's the case, then use "Great Stuff". Works pretty good and can be found at like Home Depot, Lowes, or here: http://www.dowgreatstuff.com/
ight guys, i just picked up a my first boosted car. sadly its a d series lol. as of now its pushin 5lbs of boost and im trying to figure out whats the highest i could go without having to tear into the motor
8 to 12

ok sweet. others in the general tech threads were tellin me to turn it to 30 and blow it up. people on here have changed lol. but thanks guys
i know my motor isnt tuned but i think my bov is causin somethings. bad part is its a ebay knock off piece of poop. does anyone know how to adjust it?
Yea easiest way to adjust it is take all the allen screws out and throw it away lol but really thats how u fix them

lol. ok i just picked up a greddy profec type s controller, i installed it right, have all setting on min, but its wanting to hit 15psi which i DO NOT want. i made one run and it hit 15 and i quit. i dont want my block blowin up. can someone help??!
Best thing to do on a simple setup like that is run it on a waistgate spring or manual controller and tune it on chrome "chippable" ecu

94 integra... got my cat taking out due to clogged up very badly and needed a new muffler as well, now have a pretty good muffler and pipe where the cat was. a bung was put there for the o2 so all that is good i assume. I am getting a code 41 sometimes after the car heats up. code is a o2 heater sensor according to the blinks. I am trying to troubleshoot but cant figure this out. Thanks.
You probably need one of those adapters to screw into the o2 bung and then screw the o2 sensor into. It makes the o2 sensor think there is a cat there still.
even though the o2 is already plugged in the bung?
that b/c was a waste of money should of just got a hallman manual one
im guessing the wastegate has a 15lb spring in it. but im thinkin the control valve in the engine bay isnt workin, anyway to tell if it is?
just run it on 15lbs then...

and blow my shit up? ha no thanks. but i got it working thanks anywho
yea i did that and i can hear it click but idk i think i got some lines mixed up or not "t'd" properly
i picked up a "basemap" chip today and when i put it in a p28 ecu on my 94 civic it ran like poop. idled realll low and cut of when u gave it gas. could it be doing this cuz of the ecu? or is this "basemap" tuned? the guy i got it from on here said its a bone stock d series non vtec on 8lbs of boost chip
Need help! Car stutters and bogs under mild acceleration no matter what rpm I'm at or what gear I'm in. Calibrated tps and it was at .60 at closed throttle. I set it to .49 at closed and it read 4.55 at WOT. not sure what to do now. Idles perfect but could it be the throttle body or iavc. Thanks
93 del sol with b18a block, b16 head, p61 ecu
what is the fuel pressure
Not sure my guess would be stock since the fuel pump is stock
Everything is stock on the car except for like headers and intake
you need to check actual pressure, it takes an adapter, which i have at my shop, to test it... if the fuel pressure or volume is low, then it can cause your symptoms because the car is just not getting adequate fuel... call me at the shop to set something up... 706-563-1210, jimmy
Thanks. It seems it does get the right amount but only if I'm quarter throttle or more. I will check fuel pressure tomorrow and see what's up. Thanks again for your help.
dont seem like fuel pressure to me only does it low rpm. once in the gas good it clears out and runs fine with way way way more fuel then it needs. i think it still tps told you u should of took it off made sure who ever put in on moved the little plastic peice to the stop where it goes. or some other sensor would be my guess. the tps is made with revits so it wont get messed with why do peopel keep messign with them. i know it was like that when u got it but just in general people stops drillin them out and change the load on stock stuff. i can see if you buy a aftermarket tb.
