SOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I havent been on here in a while and I have some exciting news! I figure I go ahead and gives a heads up of my 2010!
I will be getting Braces on Jan 11. I will most likely NOT move to ATL, and this all due to me getting an EVO sooner or later. , and now I know your sitting there scratching your heads thing wait what? How can he do that he drives a Del Sol????? well I will be signing my life away to the Airforce in the next couple days. My life needs some excitement and my whole family is Marines/Airforce! Its in my Blood! So there is your update!

I'm gonna try to cross train into either TACP or CCT as soon as I can. Right now I'm a crew chief though. It's not the job that I wanted but what the heck, the main reason I joined was to finish school so I didn't really care. Make sure you get a job that you really want or else they'll give you one of the worst ones they can think of, lol. Wait out until your job is available if you have to!!

Yeah, do TACP. Then you get to hang out with us Army guys, LOL. I thought you couldn't come in as TACP or CCT though. Used to be you had to try out for it in basic. Is it not that way anymore? TACP, is good stuff though, so are the CCT and PJ's. If the route you're going for is wanting adventure CCT, PJ then TACP is probably the order for that. DO NOT be in a hurry, wait for your job like the other guy said!!!

...and oh yeah, start running and swimming now. Run 2-4 miles, 2-4 times a week, do pull-ups, push-ups and sit-ups. You could probably go to the recruiter to do some physical training. Might have to go to the Army recruiter for that though......it'll give you a good idea of what PT is and prep you for it.

I have to lose 25 pounds! They go by weight not body fat like some of the other branches! But I started this morning! I did 2 1/2 miles at lake bottom and 2 100 yards sprints and 50 situps/pushups. Threw up for a solid 5mins. It felt good! I have to be strict on my diet!

Iheard its intense. The requirements arent nothing like run a mile an a half in 11mins do 40 pushups and 50 situps in a min. and do 2 pull ups but strive for 6.
But TACP gets paid alil more due to the fact that i would be stationed in an army base. Airforce pays more due to the fact that I guess you dont get the luxury of the airforce base so they feel they need to pay more if your on a army base
and i have 42 college credits so dont quote me but I believe I go in as a E3? they say if you have 20+ then you start higher in rank.

Yeah, you should be able to pull atleast E-3 out of that. But the physical requirements are probably more demanding than that, atleast after you get the acceptance. Losing 25lbs might not be too too bad though. Paul also runs, well used to anyways. Maybe the two of you could be run buddies. If you are trying for those type of jobs ou might want to smoke yourself atleast once a week also. Just saying, they will dog you out the first weeks of training to weed out the weak and those not motivated enough to do what is required.

I gotta running partner! I can cut weight relatively easy, i have a lot of muscle memory! But thats what I read on the site about the requirements, like I said I m going to recruiter again 2marow! An will let you know how it goes! Thanks for the support!

Am on suspension b/c I argued with the owner/chef my last day of work before my xmas vaca. She told me I shoulda been standin back in the kitchen waitin on my food to come up. I told her that I had somethin else I had to do while it was bein made and that she yells and bitches at us when we stand in the kitchen and wait for our food. She's a psycho bitch that doesn't need to be dealin with the general public. I'd had enough of her talkin to me like shit and treatin me like shit, and I told her so. *shrug* I'm not gonna kiss ass or be treated like shit. They don't pay me enough.

That's b/c there's a buncha scatter-brained guys plannin stuff As far as the location, I just don't think you're gonna find too many where there aren't idiots. Idiots are everywhere. I suggested West Point a while back.. the marina or whatever off River Road. No one ever said anything about it. Would be nice to just go to a sit-down place and have a dinner instead of standin around in the cold. Jus throwin that out there.
