when my sister came home from NC, even though she blew here jeep up we got it to my house. with my brothers bmw parked in the back yard, we had 12 cars at my house unless someone went to work...lol then my gma came, and my gf...we are now at 14.

whoever gets the carport at my place gets to leave last bc there will be 2-3 cars behind them. and its never fun when you have to get up and move your car at 5am bc you forgot where your suppose to park..kid of annoying..

If they did cool. Even if they didn't cool. That's one thing I love about driving mine everywhere. It brings responses from people of all ages. I drive into a tuner meet and get swamped because it's old school and an old Civic. I can go get gas or to the store and get swamped by older people that have memories of having one when they were younger or by middle age people that remember their parents having one when they were children. It seems everyone appreciates this car. And it's even stock and getting these reactions.
But like I said above, a lot of people simply referred to all 1st gen Hondas as CVCCs because that's what they thought it was called. I know several folks who have had one and when I see pics of it, realized they were 1200 models. They didn't even know. Later, QD.

well our driveway is kinda like a small parking lot. so no one is ever in the way of each other, you're just parked off to the side. in the middle there is a big opening for everyone to turn around in and what not. it's just nice to have your car covered esp in the rain.

fixed the valve tap on my white civic, trading it tom or sunday then gonna be rocking something new. 8)
fyi- when adjusting valves, never adjust them on tdc when the cam gear is not in the up postion. i adjusted them when it was pointing down and no bueno

Every cylinder has to be at TDC and you go 1-3-4-2. It won't be turned staright up every time either. It will go top-intake-down-exhaust. But I always spin it all the way around

Ya, when you do cylinder 1 at TDC, the cam gear can be point up or down....when it is pointed up, thats when you your supposed to adjust the valves. not down. i did tdc on 1, 3, 4, then 2...but the cam gear was wrong. therfore everything was adjusted wrong.
pointed up for tdc at 1...pointed left(front of the motor) when tdc at 3...down when tdc at 4, then right(rear of motor ) at tdc on 2.
Yea one of those. Did it sound like shit when you cranked it up the first time?
