actually not quite. Mitsu is in dire straights, but even though we as automobile enthusiasts can't stand the 3g/4g eclipses (its a heavy, unsporty pig IMHO), other people love it. They rave about the styling, the smooth engine, the comfort factor. All things that a heavy, semi-sporty vehicle would have. Mitsu has been trying to capture the female demographic with this new eclipse and to a large degree, they were successful. Look at who drives 3g and 4g eclipses. The new eclipse is actually selling quite well and the changes that were made, much to our chagrin as tuners, those outside of our circle liked, so it got heavier and larger, the v6 got bigger (rather than a turbo 4), awd still hasn't returned and the suspension is just as mushy as it has been.
