I can't believe how many people are throwing stones around here. From looking around at the Varsity last week most of you have no room to talk about appearances. From the pictures that I have seen on here and people in person, I would place Leanne near the upper end of attractiveness of those on here.

that's where you are wrong. Look at how Paul/Admin's car was judged. He's got a huge FMIC and making pretty damn good numbers on a stock turbo for a Vdub, but he gets trashed.

No, I comprehend your point just fine. I fail to see where this particular car has a badge or sticker that I can see that says JDM EVO? Also, this isn't a Mitsubishi specific forum, granted there is a SUB forum for Mitsu's. Paul/Admin's car is not everyone's cup of tea, I think he was quite brave to go with that color scheme. Personally I would have gone the opposite route and flipped the placement of colors. I dont think anyone fears Paul/Admin on this site, and will give their honest opinnion. I read that whole thread over on the VW site that bashed his car, and most of those guys just want to try and replicate their cars to look like Audi's anyways. Nemsis threw out the point that if this Lancer had a huge FMIC and made 500AWHP people wouldnt be dissing on it as much as they are, but in honesty I still would. The car does not look good. The girl posing next to the car does not look good or funny.
and I drive a peice of crap lifted tacoma, but I'd still drive it over a ugly 500AWHP car or 1000AWHP car. I dont need a fast or high horse power car to feel better about myself. I'm more for practical use. That's not to say I dont feel there are some nice cars out there with bodykits and motor swaps and such. IMO, there is UGLY......and there really isnt any "if's, and's, or but's about it" each person knows what UGLY is.

What gives anyone the right to put down someone elses car or tell them what to do with it. If someone wants to give thier opinions (good or bad) do it in a positive way (not that looks like shit or whatever). If you don't like my car and think it should be something different - fork over the cash and buy me a car and I will drive whatever makes you happy. (When I say you - not anyone specific - just anyone in general)

Everyone has to start somewhere and no one's car was perfect when they first started. Like I said before, maybe this body kit was all the guy could have afforded.
