I believe he was messing around on the first two runs... third run he ran a 12.3 @ 119mph off the bottle. Turns out he has a pretty respectable car...

street cars running 6 seconds? Methinks not. Nothing against fully built 1/4 cars but I much rather would enjoy seeing cars that are daily driven or weekend cars run a 12 than a car built for a straight run a 6. I dunno...guess i'm weird though.

Yea guess you are weird. You have to of been there to understand. Some of the cars there were amazing especially Mike Twin's Grand National. The dragster cars were sweet as well. I'm sorry but I see cars like that all the time at the track where you guys were. I would rather see something loud and stupid fast.

I think you are missing the point of what I am trying to say. You can turn on ESPN and see 4 seconds top fuelers and what not. I find it more entertaining to see a group of my peers on the track running what they would on any given day..not just burning 10 gals of methanol propelling them exponentionaly down the 1320' one time. That just doesn't entertain me. Sure its fast and the sounds are amazing; however, it's still not something that i put a lot of value in as a 'real' car. Just a fuckin motor on a seat.

^na I see what your saying. All I was saying is that dragsters cars and funny cars are more entertaining to me. Thats what I am saying.
