Default KevinT707 CRX Photoshoot (Updated, More pics added.)

These are the first five pictures of about five or ten more to come. Look closely at the sky in the vertical picture and you'll see a shooting star over the top left hand side of the car. This new camera is making my day.

I'm in love with the last picture, & yes 15 or 16's would look better since my car is small. Big thanks to Robby (Estis) for taking incredible pictures, now where are the rest! RE: Nemesis, notice how there are no rear shots, cutie

Pics look good but the last one seems a little blown out too me. Good concept tho. The fourth pic I would have liked to see a little more of an angle on the car and placed under the light so that it reflects on the lines of the car more.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm still getting used to the camera, as I've only been using it for about two days. GA_, I had some more angular shots but I ended up moving the focus when I tried to take them so they didn't come out correctly.

Alex you know my number, call me and let me know when you want to do one. You all know that I rarely sleep, so I've got plenty of free time if you want to do a photo shoot.

    Here's some more... (pics added)

No offense to estus but he is a long way from doing magazine shoots but I will give him props for doing night shoots. That is not something I am very good at since I never do them. There is only one on this board that I know of who is at that level and that is Joey.

I don't think he is. The shooting star seems to be some lens flare from the overhead lights

Night shots were my specialty with the point and shoots (no tripod)! Now I've only gotten one succesful night photo with no flash and it's still a tad bit blurry on 90% zoom

Each person has their area where they are good. Me, I shoot early morning/late afternoon as to bring out all the detail in the car. I like night shoots but I have never attempted them on my own. I also tend to go into areas where the shooting become exponentially harder such as model shoots. The lighting plays a larger role as does the postion of the model. I have been on so many boards and talked to so many pros that I am ready to try it but still lack about $600 worth of lighting and equipment to pull off the shots I want. Not to mention I have to go pick up my new lens next month also

I will say for good nigh shots from what I have heard is either remote or timer so there is no camera shake. That and a good tripod.

Oh I was definitely using a tripod. Those shots we're taken with a very very slow shutter speed. That's why we thought/think that whatever that is in the shooting star pic is a shooting star instead of lens flare. The upper portion of the parking deck is exceptionally dark, so when I was shooting I left the shutter open for almost 10 to 20 seconds at a time.

Just wait till you guys see what I'm working on now. Me and my buddy climbed a crane in Atlanta tonight with my SLR and tripod to make a panoramic photo of the city. I did it before with my point and shoot and the results we're great, so I can't wait to see how it comes out with my new SLR.

oh GA_Teg, I know it's not magazine quality stuff but keep in mind I've only been using the camera for two days now. Kevin's car was the first car I've done a shoot with using that camera.

NO man I was not putting you down in anyway, just responding to PSINXS's comment. I understand you have only had the cam for a couple of days and you can only get better with it. I have only had two real shoots with mine.

    Nice pics and nice car...

IMO that "shooting star" looks like a lens flare... just the way it looks to me because of a couple of things...
