Also the rumored Corvette Coupe. 5.3L V8, less than 400hp, changed to the front fascia, fenders and rear diffuser.
    Corvettes for everyone!
For the Corvette Coupe reported to be a cheaper model I will believe that when GM says it. I could see the General making a dumb decision like this, they have done it in the past with the FRC (it was about 6-7k cheaper than the base Corvette). As for the ZR1/Z06 I have not seen an article where they have claimed one will have boost, and one will. I don't even know if there will be two separate models for sure or what they will be called. If you have seen any of this from GM, please point me in the right direction for I have been slacking.

In the higher performance models it would be sweet if they brought back the moniker LT5 and I wouldn't be opposed to having another DOHC Corvette motor... if it made the right amount of power!!

I really hope they do not make a poor mans Corvette. Nothing official from the GM camp but I wouldnt be surprised to see it.

Another DOHC Corvette would be really cool. I havent seen anything directly from GM but there is an article or two written by Motor Trend journalist stating the ZR1 will be a supercharged v8 based off the new LT1.

As for the -12. I still dont understand how you can have a negative reading on that gauge if it is reading PSI. You can have boost and you can have vacuum. Unless they are calling it "negative boost"?(a.k.a. vacuum) Which is just silly and stupid.

Yeah it's just vacuum and they are just making it proportional, which would be silly if you have a gauge that ranges from -30 - +30 haha in certain applications.

Vacuum isnt a negative number. So it should say 12inHg and 12 PSI. Not 12 and -12. 12 PSI makes sense. -12 anything, does not.

Well that's a ford gauge!!! I know what you mean with the -12 PSI vs 12inHg, hopefully the software is still in the testing and they will notice this. With the -30 to 30 I honestly haven't seen boost many gauges that are evenly distributed. My old gauges were in bars and did not go -2 to 2.

Bars I believe can be read as a negative value. Vacuum cannot. So with that gauge I posted above it reads 30inHg and up to 30PSI. No negative numbers at all. You're probably right though, its probably just something they just threw on there for kicks and giggles not knowing what the hell they were doing........ GM makes no sense
