    Default Update on the Z

Here's a little timeline of wheels on my car.

    Oem 18x8.5 +30 x4

    Varrstoen 2.2.2 19x9.5 19x10.5 +15

    Varrstoen 3.2 I think 18x9.5

Work xd9 18x9 18x10 got them used for cheap with one wheel curbed bad to much of an eyesore and didn't want to fix

Varrstoen 19x9.5 19x11 love these wheels got them with really small an stretched tires so I thought I wanted to trade them. Ended up getting new wider tires and now love the wheels again. Keeping these for my build now I can move onto suspension mods.

Car looks good. On a side note, it seems everyone and their mom has varrstoens now.

I personally liked the Works myself but I can understand the headache behind having to replace one. Looks good now as well.

I like the last set. I would have done suspension first personally, but as long as you get her done, that's all that matters.

Ok so im messing around with the idea of painting the spokes on my wheels.

    which one?

how it is for reference. Its factory painted silver

im leaning more towards the gun metal / graphite color... im planing on adding some carbon fiber accents to the car eventually so i think it would go well with that

I'd leave them as is or go chrome. I'm sure many here would disagree with the chrome but that's my style.

I'd say go crazy (teal, orange, green) or leave them the way they are.

The Works looked best. The LM kock-offs have dookie rear fitment/stretch IMHO. Get some NT03-Ms and be done with it.

the rears did have a stretched 275/30 tire on it.. just put some 285/35 tires on so no more stretch. I'm right there with you, not a big fan of stretch/stance. When i lower it the tires should be flush with as close to stock camber settings.

How do you like the sport comps? I've got a set on my wagon in a 235/45/17 and absolutely love them.

Yeah I had looked at the v12s but I heard the tread life was horrible on them.

    little update

Ok so ive been itching to drop the car. I feel like I got ahead of myself with the wheels and then slowly started to not like them.

I sold the wheels to a 370 owner. Got his 2010 convertible touring wheels plus enough cash to do what I wanted to the car.

New wheels. Nothing like OEM. The ride is sooo smooth I love it.

    annnnnd....
