There is no knee panel. The wires need to be tucked in and (probably) zip tied to something. Haven't done it yet as I am still working on getting the radio and speakers all rewired.

Yessir. Mine was more financial and health, but it's all getting back to gravy. I could probably do this myself, but the health side of it may not allow it so I'll let the stereo folks do it for me.

I am having my Sirius unit hardwired into the back of the factory AM/FM so as to keep the stock look and I can still listen to what I want. That's the main part, also, why I want the stereo guys to do it.

Just happen to see this on Criagslist - Not saying that's the value of your car but just thought i would post it for someone that might see yours and say "WOW... I have to have one" Great price on a 80'civic (not my car just saw it out there and posting) $800 not a bad deal. If i didn't have a daily i would pick it up lol

Yeah, that car is in rough shape, too. Not saying mine is perfect, but this one is pretty much where mine started. I paid $100 for mine, lolol.
