If there is no tire stretching and BS bowed in wheels, I will be interested in seeing the upgrades. Very cool car that you just don't see modified. Car like that needs some nice, conservative, polished wheels and an even drop to about just above the top of the tire.

@quickdodge thanks for the compliment and the conservative look is exactly what im goin for and no there will not be any bowed in wheels on this ride i already have the camber kits to take care of that problem front and rear.

very nice, paint looks really good. Do what you want to do, if you want to go for that super aggressive stance with stretched tires, go for it. I for one like that looks lol.

^^^ Those are hideous. They look good until you see the tire stretch and ugly bowing out of the wheels.

Thanx for all the compliments and tips fellas I'll definatly keep u guys posted on future mods like I said I'm really just goin for the clean conservative look so it won't be slammed to the ground and cambered out crazy plus it s still my daily driver. Only mod so far is a custom 2.5inch catback with a OBX muffler, sounds pretty good.

JTTB u got any pics of those wheels u talkin bout and d u ride a vigor? I ask cuz of ur profile pic.

the ones i thought of are these, but i dont know what sizes those cars hold, i would think a 18/19 maybe a aggressive 17?!?

yea i just want it to b clean the exterior is gonna stay like it is except for some wheels also gotta get the suspension set up like i want it so it handles like i want it to, gonna take a few custom made parts though, then its on to performance mods.

anyone know where i could get a quality port and polish job for a decent price??

What would be a decent price for the 1-2 hp you would gain?

I haven't heard "port and polish" since I wasted $5000 on it in Gran Turismo.

Well fellas taking those responses into consideration I wont be wasting ANY cash on that.the motor just might stay stock besides a cold air intake, not much of a aftermarket for the vigor.

Please Don't. just get some nice rims. looks like its already low enough. keep the body and paint in good shape. don't really know what you can do performance wise but exterior wise, rims, keep body/paint clean. and your done

Agreed. I wouldn't worry about doing anything with the engine. Just keep it running and make it look good.

Dont try to fit a square peg into a round hole. You do not own a performance oriented car. Dont waste your money on performance mods that are going to do little or nothing to make your car any faster than it is. What you do have is an attractive car that isnt that common. Put some nice (NOT RICEY) wheels on it and leave the exterior alone.

I wouldnt make any conclusions based on this thread, check out acurazine and the rl forums. I know there are a few upgrade options for the motor swap, to the newer more reliable tl/rl setups. If you wanna slam it slam it, if you wanna jack it up on 30s do it..,but owning cars with minimal aftermarket support and that have a list of possible issues is always tough. Ive owned 2 929s and i know the feel for owning cars like this. Check out those forums and learn and enjoy.
