Ha ha, yeah it does kinda suck, but they were only speaking the truth about what they have gone through with them. I feel pretty confident about the car thoughmaybe I found one of the diamonds in the rough.

Life is a thought, think about it.
For sure, to be honest, I wouldn't worry about it. People said that about Volvos under ford ownership but we had an S40 with zero issues ever.
Also here's the thing about talking to a technician; their sample size and view of cars are based solely on those that come in for service/repairs. So who knows, their could be 1 problem car for every 5/10 that are flawless its really hard to tell.

just passing the advise, I did lay it on a bit thick though now that I go back and reread lol.
Possibly, I've seen some come in with never having any major issues. Could be your one of them
This is a very valid point, but the things I listed are known problems that WILL happen. Oil leaks will come with age (like they do with any car) its just these are more costly and difficult then others. And the electrical issues may have come with the previous owner hopefully, but it's a strong possibility they will happen to. Again I'm sure there's lots of people out there with problem free SAAB's he may be one of them.![]()
