Got started on the bumper today. Used a TJ winch plate as a starting base, and a scratch and dent stinger I got at work. This was about 5 hours of work with a food/hardware run!
The wheels look a little cambered from the panorama shot I took to get the whole front end. Hopefully we can finish up with a full day tomorrow!

Dang that bumper looks strong. Looks really good too and the black grill is a nice touch I painted mine to and I think it looks so much better than all that fake chrome.
I didn't mind the chrome, but now the grille looks better than the rest of the Jeep! lolol

Time for a paint job? I ended up painting my grill after I painted the Jeep because the grill didn't match the Satin paint job.
Na, not wasting the time or money on a beater as far as a full fledged paint job. lol

Thanks. Today we finished up the bumper, its drying overnight and tomorrow we'll get it and the winch/lights mounted.
Light mounted for test fitment. There is another tab on the opposite side.

I got the rims swapped over to my Gamblers, I've got to get some wheel spacers though they currently rub the very outer most lug on the tire on the outside of the leaf spring.
I also hooked my winch up and swapped the cable for the synthetic rope. That saves about 30lbs on the front end. While at PullAPart today I also managed to pick up a drivers mirror, an ash tray, a fan shroud (rare to find in good shape), and a FACTORY front skid plate....I had one of the most successful trips to a junkyard I've ever had....lol

Thanks dude, I do too! I'm so tired of seeing the same old d-window wheels on every Jeep! lol

I have D-windows on my Jeep.![]()
lol that's fine....most Jeeps do....its like LS mesh on a Civic....they don't look bad and are very common! lolol

Mine were on the Jeep when I bought it and I can't see paying for a different set when I don't really care what they look like. I do like the ones you got tho.
Mine are going to get scratched, dented and probably bent at some point so maybe one day I'll change it up. LOL
Yea I feel ya. I went for these because they're aluminum which has a few benefits.

Threw on some 1.25'' spacers for the Gamblers!

Thanks man, I've been pretty good. How about you?
Bozzio for president.
Good man, staying busy. You'll have to bring the Jeep up one weekend when I have the Toyota going and we'll do a little wheeling.
Sounds good, I'm hoping to finish up with a regear soon so it's more drivable.

I found someone using pictures of your Jeep to sell parts on Ebay.

Haha that's cool! That's a company that sells our products, not surprised to see it really.

Had a successful day in the money pit, I'll post some pictures later on!

All in all had a good time, the YJ went down after that puddle sadly, it's a 350/5speed and some trash in there got his slave cylinder line. :-/ The XJ handled everything we did with no problems to report. We did some more trail oriented stuff but I was driving so I didn't get too many pictures of that stuff.

Josh are the trails really narrow and do a lot of tree branches hang over, I dnt really want to scratch the crap out of the jeep?
Yea there's a good chance you'd get scratched out there.

Ok count me out lmao!!!
Went wheeling and also got the 4.56s with install kits for my axles. Also a HD front diff cover.

LOL that last pic should be in the RR catalog as the pic for the straps!
I can't help but wonder what your XJ looks like with no fender flares, trimmed nice, with its current setup....
