Not to be negative, but what is the "coolness factor" of badging a car something it's not? I've never actually heard someone say why so I'm just wondering. Later, QD.

it was made by the same company, plus in japan they are know as honda integra if im not mistaking, they have honda on the valve cover, just like people that put toyota badges on lexus cars, or nissan badges on infiniti, like the other day i saw a g8 with Holden Commodore badges from Australia, that was b.a., this is the commodore

I understand the same company thing. And I have the same "peeve" with Toyota and Nissan, too. But the Acura is an Acura. Not a Honda. Unless it says Honda on the title, then it's an Acura. Later, QD.

The "Acura" in question is a Honda that has been re-badged as an "Acura" for the NA market. So it is indeed a Honda, it just has an Acura badge. Nothing about the RSX sets it apart as being an Acura. It is essentially the same as the Honda Integra sold in Japan. It's re-badged by Honda from the factory.

What QD is saying is the Integras over here that are not factory RHD and don't say Honda on the title are all Acuras and not Hondas. We all know the difference. It would be the same if you had a Honda Integra, shipped it over here, and put an Acura badge on it.

    I'd rock the Fit personally.

Lolol. I personally hate the color red, so...."gey!" But if you have red badges on your Fit, I don't care. I'd still drive the shit out of it.

Like I said, I know all that. And I'm not trying to make a federal case out of this and I'm not on some campaign to put an end to mis-badging to an end. I'm just asking why. No harm at all intended. Later, QD.
