    Updated 11-12-11 on Page 6!! NEW PICS







    Pics on Pages: 1, 3, 4, 5, & 6


    I picked it up almost a month ago and figured I would make a continuing progression thread for it.. It is an imported RHD Del Sol Si-R. here goes...



    Day 1
    I bought the car and first thing I did when I got it home was take a ton of pictures.. Here is what it looked liked when I got it..

    Some (not so) SUPER Sweet 13x8 NEGATIVE 15 offset aero racing wheels!!




    JDM rising sun gas tank


    Cool CRX steering wheel with no bezel


    Even Cooler Purple Engine Bay w/ LS swap (original B16a was blown)




    Skunk 2 exhaut




    Night 1
    After taking pictures, I took the sol to the local car wash and did a full detail on the car.. Also threw on some new wheels for the time being...








    Later...

    Now its been about a month and Ive done bunches of little things to help improve the car (IMO)


    I dropped the motor and brake lines and painted the engine bay white.. Also stripped and polished the valve cover


    Got some new enkei meshes for it.. (which are for sale/trade)


    Got a new steering wheel and bezel (temporary until i can find/afford an Si-R steering wheel)


    Stripped the Gas Tank Cover and letting it Rust


    Got a new G'Reddy SP2 exhaust, ASR subframe brace and sway bar, PIC LCA's, and Password JDM towhooks!!


    Picked up some Front and Rear Camber Kits then headed up to the dealership to get my Camber/Caster/Toe Alignment.. Ash7 met up with me


    Riding back from Import Alliance




    UPDATE (6-27-11)

    6th and FINAL set of new wheels











    I'll keep this thread going for as long as i have the car, and add when i make updates.. as far as PLANS for the car, i want to get everything BACK to being the Si-R. I have an Si-R motor at home I am going to rebuild. Get the Si-R steering wheel.. and the car was originally black, so I would also like to get it painted black again..

    Any comments and/or criticisms, feel FREE to let me know!! opinions are always welcomed!

    Ya if you considered yellow h3 bulbs that, then no. Soooooo you have no idea what your talking about. I've helped many solers get there parts on here. I don't tell them go look on ukbay.

    So again Ben if you need certain parts lemme know.

    Well i wasnt going to, but there is a big dent in it.. which i believe is why it got "sunned" in the first place... so im just gonna rust until i replace

    thankfully the car wasnt too low.. only problem was it did rub the paint off and i found some surface rust.. i just sanded it off and threw some flat white paint on there though.. thanks for the compliments man!!

    lmk if u ever want 2 trade shell for shell for a eg hatch, i miss my del sol very badly........

    oh btw you definitely should keep it white..... easier to keep clean and doesnt show all those swirl marks like most black cars do. and plus white just looks better......

    The first thing I recommend! It was by far my favorite, get the EDM auxillarys. They are glass and use the same bulbs as the headlights of usdm! They are brighter then your headlights! They are sick. And if you want you could throw HIDs into them. (don't recommend) bur they are just clean.

    good luck finding them tho. ive looked everywhere. either pay an arm and a leg for them or just rock the stock plastic like ones lol.

    Pssh u don't know who u talkin too. I had it all. And I bought mine for 125 shipped from the uk. I also had the lower fogs and u got those for 250. U gotta know peeps. 1 piece headlights 150. I came I saw I conquered. Lol

    Or you can just have an si-r model and have 1 piece headlights stock... I do need auxiliary lights though..

    oh i know man... and i plan on keeping it (reason why i sent you that text, lol).. but i still love the 96-97 front bumper... it just flows better for me.. but really, let me know about that text man!
