Apparently you live under a rock, don't have a TV that receives any station other than Cartoon Network and can't read. Many other "world power" countries assisted BOTH events-Not because we asked, but because it was the decent thing to do. Mostly to Red Cross and through NATO ties on a whole different level.

And even if nobody assisted from outside the US, let's not forget WE are the current world power. Even though in debt up to our eyeballs, we are at the top of the world power for the time being. Have you ever had to bail our your parents? (Assuming you are under 30)
