Great photos. The body roll on that Skyline reminds me of a Whaling boat in high seas. Also that orange BMW's Roll Cage looks a bit too small for it. Looks like a head smasher.

If you're gonna do it, overdo it.
Dirty Octopus Photography. Magic with a shutter!
yeah lol dude in the civic hatch could improve his track time by loosing some damn weight.
hell yeah. Matts STR car is so badass.
Damn wish you came to all the events to take pics! Good shots man!
The green ef (snot rocket) tears the track up!! I got a ride in that thing and was grinning ear to ear it was insane!

Nice pics as usual, Chad... But REAL men shoot panning shots at 1/60th or slower.
:p
haha- jk.
And I too was a firm believer in NOT using a monopod until this year. Holding up a 5lb camera/lens combo ( Sony a700 with Minolta 80-200 f2.8 w/ 2x Teleconverter) for 8+hrs makes the arthritis in my shoulder KILL me for the week after a long day shooting.
I made the jump to the monopod this year- its got a ball head and I loosen it up for pan shots and tighten it up for stills. Its not bad after you get used to it- but it sure is nice to not have to support my camera with my neck or arms for 8+ hrs in a row.
