Default Got some work done on the ej1 this weekend

Well finally decided to tear into my steering problems this weekend (stupid rain). Inner tierods were bad ( expected on a 260,000 mile car) and had a ton of oil leaks. Started off with the vtec solenoid gaskets ( one leak down). Second leak was the oil pan gasket, had the original gasket on the pan.
This is what it looked like when i finally got it off (HARD AS A ROCK, no wonder it leaked).
After that i dove into takeing out the steering rack. After alot of cursing and busted fingers i got it out.

    The bad tierod

All of my oem parts for the rebuild (new inner and outer tierods etc.)

Now i have to wait for my tie rod end boots to come in.
While i had the interior out i decided to clean my oem floor mats.

    After:
Just thought i would share my boring weekend!

I actually used a pressure washer. Had it at a low psi on fan spray.
