Haha 1st you still owe me 40. 2nd do you see how much time i actually spend at the track testing my car. NONE!!! As much as i would love too live at the track, i have another goal in mind and it aint racing.
I run whenever their is an event, other then that the car sits in the garage. So I have no excuse. i just like making money better then going too the track!!! THis year its my goal too test the car alot more, or have someone race it that will spend time setting it up right for me. Eighter which way.............WHERES MY MONEY!!!!
AH I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!
I am ready to see it running! March is sneaking up mighty quick!
Damn...... cats out of the bag. I told Jimmy to lock the photobucket a little too late. LOLOLOLOLOL.
But we are gonna use my car as the single cam project. Most of the swap will be used to upgrade my car.
This year will be awesome for all of us. :goodjob:
very nice
Out of the bag or not, this is a competent shop and they will do what they say. This should be a fun "season".
damn, yall aint bullshitting!
damn danny......
Peter made 890HP and could never get better then a 10,0 at 152mph. No matter what we did the car would never run faster.
Nice, but this is a different car, tuner, driver, set up. Horsepower is just a number. I went a 10.8 with 450hp
so whats gunna be the old blue hatch?
Honest to god, it was that turbo, you and i both know it lol.
JJ is a good guy and will work hard but you guys that havn't ran 9's yet need to do it first before saying that they are going to just fall out of his ass. I havn't done it but i will this year. I just got my second to last shipment of jewels, pics soon. Im just glad that there's atleast another car staying around, moving on and getting something fucking done, no matter how it gets done.
yepp and blake went 10.85 with 409 ina full interior gsr with leather ona trans with no lsd, wasnt preloading, and had some junk suspension! I see folks on H-T running mid to low 9's with 700-750whp. High 9's with 630. Them fuckers in the middle east are droping closer to 8 second territories every pass out....with BASIC setups! These guys went 10.1 on a 60-1 on 22lbs babying the car.

I take it its not going to be a street driven car anymore? Look forward to seeing more updates. And next time tell somebody ya'll are all going to Buffalo's. Seen Joey and the Goat meister coming in as I was leaving. Wouldn't ming introducing myself.
 as vtecace eluded to....this is a different car with a different driver
you've been a hater since day one and all i can say is when someone has a passion for racing it shows in their car and their skill set behind the wheel....guess that's why you're mediocre on your best day ;)
single cam....might have a front mount as well :ninja:
there was a thread in the events section man! keep an eye out...im sure there will be another one put together soon
and we gotta do something about that valve cover this year....
To answer a few questions asked in the last two pages, I was going to have a little fun with this thread and when I got a little farther along turn it into a build thread. So I guess Danny helped me achieve that goal a little earlier:D. Thanks! My goal is to put together a nice car with stuff that I have laying around the shop. I above anyone else on this thread knows first hand how hard it is to run nines. It is a goal that may or may not be reached this year, but even if I dont, I can assure you that I will enjoy the journey, even the hard parts. the Blue Hatch is on the back burner for now. Hopefully I can get it back out soon. The D Series is not forgotten either, we have a build in the planning stages that should be a lot better than the last one and it will be a street car also. About the Teg being a street car, I will have to see if I can afford one more insurance premium as I have a car that I am going to finish soon so my wife can save some gas over the Suburban. That setup was street driven in 08 on 18 lbs and pump gas. Went 7.6 in the 1/8 on drag radials in the blue hatch. I decided that I didnt want to cage that car so I would stop with it. Well here we are, Commerce is less than 2 months away, and I JUST pulled the D Series last Thursday the 21st. As I dont touch the car during the day, there will be some late nights coming up.
stop reminding me how soon commerce is, winter is never long enough but i love to see it leave LOL
this is going to be wild
Thats funny, i wasnt hating. I really could careless what people run anymore. Racing is fun but that aint my life or job. I do it as a hobby when i have time or want.Im sorry i dont live or have as much time too spend on my car anymore.
I just stated that its going too be harder going from a PRO CAR to a street car and expect too run 9s. If you do,GREAT JOB. If you dont well maybe next time.
I dont know why u think every comment i make is hating, seriously!! I will say this 9s will not be ran in GA in a Import ( honda,Acura). These tracks suck and dont prep them at all.
I really dont care or find racing as much fun anymore, so dont be suprised if you dont see my car at the track much. And when it is, it will probly be running like shit or slow since i spend no time in the seat or track.
You can think thats an excuse but so be it.As far as diffrent car and diffrent drivers, trust me peter was more the capable too run 9s. Shit he was the 1st in GA to do it in a honda. As i said before he didnt do it in ga eighter, and his car was only making 700hp back then.
Well Jimmy flipped the script on me! Haha!
I'll run 9's at a GA track, its possible.
It is definately possible. I have done it before and plan on doing it again if everything works out correctly.
