It is one of these Stainless Steel tags I had made. It is in the curve of the primary so it is hard to get a pic without the flash washing it out:

Now get you some gears to hold it.....
Looking good
Fuel cell construction started tonight. I ended up shearing the aluminum into strips since I couldnt get access to a press brake today:

I need to pick up some more weld in bungs and finish the top off. I will add some straps and it will go where the factory tank went. Weight is about 5 lbs vs almost 30 for the factory unit. The little triangle piece on the left is tacked on for a ground while I am welding.
that looks tedious as hell! i should be able to stay late some this week to lend a hand!
Jimmy! Mop that office floor sometime this week :D
Please forgive me for not showing up on Friday like I said I would...that white stuff on the ground kept me from wanting to venture out. I'll swing by tomorrow before Physics class, haha.
And you were in North Dakota? That little 2 inches of snowfall wasnt bad...
...except for all the other drivers out there, lol!
Here is a raw pic of one of the welds. It is actually aluminum in color, I guess the reflection made it look a little bronze:

Some ballin' ass welding. I gave Wilson's a call today. Should be taking care of my machine work ASAP.
Sorry for the threadjack/.
lol. But thanks for pointing me too them.
^lulz and looking good man
Stack of dimes.
Hey, I figure if I learned to drive on snow/ice in a 240, and followed it up by doing it in an S12, I can drive anything in the snow as long as there's some weight over the drive wheels.
lookin good jimmy
The Teg has been on a major diet the last couple of nights. The interior and dash came out because I need to get the 10 point cromoly roll cage in so I can be safe and comply with regulations since I feel the car might go past the 135 mph barrier in the 1/4, since it went 130.77 on the single cam. I had an RS Integra chassis donated by a friend of mine, Cal, who is known on here as Calboi. It had been wrecked and he wanted to help my car go a little faster this year. The RS chassis does not have a sunroof so it is the perfect donor car for a roof skin. I removed the sunroof this morning with the help of vtecace23 and him and Phantomgoat helped me get the hatch off the car tonight. I got to work getting the seam sealer and urethane out of the way and started going to town on those pesky spot welds(sorry for the dark pics):

After all the drilling and some minor air hammer action to slice through the seam sealer, and a little fun I managed to have an Integra taco, well almost. Got to leave the two cross braces as they are perfect to help me locate the donor roof and keep the chassis square:

Here is a pic with the donor roof sitting in place:

I will be leaving the roof panel off as it will make welding and painting the roll cage a little easier.
glad i could help bro. now do me a favor and put that bit in the 9s.
and if you come to the re-grand opening in a few weeks you can sign the roof, lol
Good work guys! Can't wait to see more!
The sunroof/frame/motor assy weighed 32 lbs so this should be a decent mod. Altogether found around 70 lbs today and that is good since the 10 point weighs in at 64 lbs.
Pretty awesome when you can change a few things, add a roll cage, and still save a couple pounds. Every bit counts!
you know what's awesome? tearing a car apart and rebuilding it in shorter time than KP can put windows in his hatchback...
i see ya lurking sweetheart :D
