Default Rollininstyle2004's 02 Audi Allroad Arc Audio trunk build *American Radio Content*

As some of you may know my buddy Jordan, AKA Rollininstyle2004, has been in the process of building a 2002 Audi Allroad for some sound after the loss of his beloved Passat.

    The modifications consist of:
    Alpine CDA-9827
Hybrid Audio Clarus C51-2 (front doors)
    Arc Audio KS6006 (rear doors)
    Arc Audio XXD6029 (read hatch)
    Arc Audio ARC15 (2)
    Arc Audio KS1000.1 (2)
    Arc Audio KS300.4
    Arc Audio 2080XXD
    Arc Audio Line Drivers
    Stinger SP925 (2nd Battery)
    Stinger wiring and accessories
    Varad LED accent lighting

All of the work was done by American Radio in Cumming, GA. I was fortunate to be able to help Jordan and the American Radio crew on this build after hours and late into the snowy and cold nights. We had a bit of a deadline to catch as Jordan was headed back to Michigan in a little over a week, which you will see pictures of shortly on our road trip up to The University of Michigan in the Car Pics section.

Let’s start off by throwing American Radio some love! American Radio, located in Cumming, GA, is a one source stop for: Custom Sound Systems, Leather Interiors, Marine Audio-Video & Navigation, Mobile Internet Systems, TracStar, Rear Seat Entertainment, Satellite Radio, XM Radio, Sirius Satellite, TV Antenna, Security Systems, Sunroof Installation, Vehicle Recovery Systems, and more! So if you need anything along these lines just give them a shout!

As you step inside the shop you will be greeted with this!

    A custom sound wall room!

Yeah, It was snowing while we were working on this project.

Jordan dropped off the car and the work began!

I started off with a little sea foam action. Man did this car need it!

Then we took care of the usual oil change in preparation for our trip up to Michigan that weekend.

Lol burlwood anyone? They had this extra piece just sitting around in the shop. Funny thing is that this matched perfectly with his interior bulwood panels.

    Out with the old

    In with the new

Wiring up the rear door components

    Time to fabricate the box

We let the mad man do his thinking

    Wiring up the head unit

Once Mr. Marsh has his plans going he is unstoppable, that is if you keep his Red Bull levels full haha.

Custom bracket made for the second battery

Wiring up the 1/0 gauge lines

    Stealth mode closed

    Opened

The box is ready to test fit

Time to wrap it all up with some vinyl

    Putting the car back together

    Flipping some amplifier cases

    Wiring almost done

    Done!

Nice! Lots of work went into all that. Wiring looks very clean. So the question is, how's it sound? haha.

Ridiculous! You've got to remember that John Marsh (installer and manager) of American Radio in Cumming is one of the best in the area and has competed with his own personal vehicle and is currently the 2007 & 2008 IASCA National SQi Champion Pro Ultimate Series. He definitely knows what he is doing. Scott, the other installer there is also a competitor in sound competition. Audio is a means of putting food on the table for these guys but it is also a passion. They have years of experience.

We got to test it out on our 11 hour drive up to Ann Arbor and man it hits some sub sonic notes that I didn't even know existed on some songs. The system is very well tuned with the components and the subs can fire to have good quality bass as well as super hear stopping bass that can cause blurred vision haha! it is dayum loud!

Sweet ass work from them, as always. Fueled by Yuengling ftw lol

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

I though I saw Jordan in there when I was picking up some terminals and ish lol.

Car looks good. Install is top notch and clean as hell.

Can't wait to see what goes down with this one.

Also let it be noted that this is phase two of his trunk build. He had another setup before and upgraded to this. From what I understand they will also be doing some floor work for the setup when the car returns this summer to ATL.

Scott and John have a final picture of the wiring once it was all done, that was probably half way there too. once the 4th amp was mounted back there, the other 2 distro blocks, relay, oh and 300ish zip ties and tie downs it looked crazy. Always on point with the attention to detail

    Phase 1:

If anyone is interested in running 3 Arc Audio KS12 in that custom built box, hit up American Radio as they are selling the 3 woofers and box as a package deal at a great used price.

Lastly, HUGE thanks to John and Scott, and of course Tony for all the help, everything turned out amazing
