how is that going to be handled? was the other driver insured? this accident was their fault, and their insurance company is responsible for handling it. unless you are going to have your insurance go ahead and cover it (and afterward, they'll go after his insurance company), you really need to be talking to their insurance provider. there was an accident report too, i presume.
