eh...Creative with the twin turbo kit, but everything else is "too much" for me. More pics of the actual build would be nicer.

personally, I feel you WASTED a lot of money on that car.

Also, why do you have black eye lids on a black head lamp? Why not paint them white to match the car?

why do you feel i wasted money on this car? im curious to see the response for this.

as for the black headlamps and black eyelids, i like subtle accenting. and it looks better black than white. because you can see it, but you cant see it.

It's a Mazda with many ford parts. It's not even 100% genuine Mazda. Will you get any of your money back from this "build?" No. You prob could have bought a Supra. Yes, lots of people have them but they don't depreciate like this car will.

Any ground breaking times or numbers? Did you build the transmission, axles, hubs/spindles? Or are you hoping they hold up b/c you have tripled the power from the engine?

Nopi started turning into crap back in 03/04 , but thats just my opinion. I really think you should get some decent photos of your car outside of the "show". I dont think it would look bad, but your display and your setup takes away from the car.

I'll have to agree with you Nemesis, his car is very clean, and looks amazing in person. I went for a ride in it before the TT went it, and its was quicker then speed6's. Now I can only imagine.

roller? lol professional auto body spray gun.

the paint is automotive color and clear. with primer and etc. under just as a vehicle exterior would be done. i chose to keep texture to keep the feel of it when you touch it.

hmm, ford block, mazda heads, motor designed by Cosworth and Porsche. the stock bottom end has Aston martin rods, a crank that handle over 800hp stock, part ford yes, and?

tranny thus far all i have done is a forged helical LSD with ARP fasteners. will be cryo treating a spare this winter, motors bottom end is stock right now, will be built in 2010

and who cares about getting my money back. if i was concerned about money i wouldnt build cars. i have no plan on selling the car. i build car for the love, not to worry about money coming back in return. if thats what you are concerned about, then cool.

as for the supra, dont want one honestly. im a different kinda motorhead, i purposely choose cars to build that no one has done yet. i like being different and having something unique. and dont care how much it costs me to be different.

could buy two mustangs and two xrunners, but everyone has em so i dont want it. thats just me. forgive me for not conforming to the norm and trying something different bro.

do i love the supra, mustang, evo, and etc? hell yea, the cars are awsome, but they are not for me. u know?

as far as other parts you mentioned asking if they were built.......they will be.......but doing something that hasnt been done before, you run itno issues with having to get things custom made, and takes a lil longer than just buying off the shelf.

Before this thread goes downhill, let me shed a little light. Anthony, I agree that there are a lot of Ford parts on the 6 (I have one...lol). What Justin did, has never been done in the 6 Community. No one has built a fully functional "tunable" TT Mazda6. Yes, someone tried before, but that was a failure. They could not tune that car. Justin has had quite a few parts made by suppliers for these cars. What he does is try to get the 6 out there. He looks out for fellow 6 owners & helps them in anyway he can. His car has also been the test bench for a lot of these parts before they were even marketed.

yea IIRC didnt they almost cancel a few of the nopi events this year or last year? i heard something about a couple of them werent happening but wound up still going down. HIN is the same. i feel for HIN like you feel for Nopi.

i have some pics before it was boosted. and a few after thats not in the show scene, i will be taking some more this weekend if its nice. i will be finishing up a couple things on it today. its been off the road for 3 days, fixing an oil leak.

dude, i swear the car caught me off guard one day....it hit boost and i didnt expect it to kick like it did, and popped it out of gear cause it flung me back, lol

these nittos hold traction very well.

For a show car, I'd say the interior is on par with others.

It's a car full of innovation. Don't hate on it because it's not jdm tight and stock looking.

The outside looks nice. Nothing to get whiplash over. Just plain and clean. That's cool. The inside looks like a typical year 2000 car you'd see anywhere back then. It's not really that good of a look now.

But don't sweat the opinions of me and others. It's all about you when it's your car. Later, QD.

I think if the interior did has so much contrast it would look 1000x better. The exterior of the car is not bad, the kit is to aggressive for me though.

Get some Black suede and everwhere you painted white, wrap it with it!

Honestly, it is very hard to pull of a painted interior, or color matched interior. Even on a porsche, I still cringe when I see it.

uhhh...btw you didn't spin at all. you need to run more boost or something. My sisters VW bug pulls harder than this:

Get some Black suede and everwhere you painted white, wrap it with it!

Honestly, it is very hard to pull of a painted interior, or color matched interior. Even on a porsche, I still cringe when I see it.

uhhh...btw you didn't spin at all. you need to run more boost or something. My sisters VW bug pulls harder than this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPWOF...eature=channel

lol, lets see, where should i start on that video?

    1. this video was taken the first time i actually drove the car on the road and hit max boost

    2. i was at 5psi

    3. i was rich as hell

    4. i had 15 degrees of timing retarded during that run

    5. the car was basically no where near having a round about tune

    6. i had spark blow out between 5400-6000rpms in both gears

    7. spun briefly

no comment on the Bug, because u may be right, at least at the time of that video, lol

    thanks for your post tho.

I can dig it. The interior isn't the way I would've done it, but it isn't my car. Looks like a lot of hard work went into it and the TT is sick. Nice car man.

This is where the term "haters" is way overused. No one is "hating" in here. Thankfully, this thread hasn't turned out like most threads where not everyone likes a car. It seems everyone is actually being tasteful in their comments of displeasure. Just because someone doesn't like something, doesn't make them a "hater." Later, QD.

We try to keep a lid on the bashing, but it still gets rough, but this thread has been a good example of how these thread should be. Later, QD.
