I like the interior, and that's about it. The stupid ass Peb Boys sponsorship ruins it.

I'm not impressed. You put that much money into an engine and can't even fit a hood support to the thing. Unpainted carbon fiber looks good on some parts, but the doors would not fall under that category. What's with the exhaust tips sticking out so far? I'm guessing the guy is a drifter and this is his drift car.

Lol. It's a purpose built Drift car. A hood support??? That's about the stupidest fucking comment i've seen on this forum to date. LoL.

Alex Pfeiffer owns Battle Version. He's one of the coolest guys to meet, hang out with and talk too.

Simon, i'm ashamed of you. You are a racer, you ACTUALLY race, you have actually gotten paid to drive, which is more than 98% of the ball jugglers on this site have done. You, I would think of everybody here, would know that to get ANY sponshership giving product, money or even support is WAY worth it's weight.

I'm still amazed at the hood support comment.

Looks like quite a purpose built car...I'm not a fan of the sponsor decals however, I know it's necessary.

Why are you amazed at that? Is there some reason why he is NOT supposed to have one? You put carbon fiber on the car and rip out the interior to make it light and then drive around with a huge piece of metal pipe to prop your hood up? Why not just get a hood support that would weigh a lot less.

Um.....ok, let me help you with this. First off, it's a purpose built drift car. He isn't going to have a huge piece of metal in there. Secondly, thats a piece of square aluminum. Not that heavy.

I'm not sure if you race, or drive competively. But when you do, ANY way to save weight in a car is taken. With the prop, he can leave it in the pits, not have it on the car when he goes out. Less weight = good.

I think what amazed me the most was the fact that you even mentioned not having a hood support. That's probably the most trivial reason to not be impressed with a car that i've seen. It's like kicking Megan Fox out of bed cause of her jacked up thumb.

Oh well, everyone has an opinion.

Megan Fox has a jacked up thump, Never really noticed it to busy looking else where. The car is ok, not really all that impressed.

I wasn't really pointing out the hood support as a reason why I didn't like it. It was just an observation and seems like something really simple to overlook. Oh well, his car is faster than mine so he must be doing something right.

Why take that to the track? I'm sure your celica is a much better track car.

Ha Ha! I love Alex. Good drinking buddy. He taught me the most crucial thing I ever learnt in drifting.

This is a literal quote from him and he lives by it, trust me: "If you can't win, make the crash reel!"

LOL. So that's what I do–even if it's not on purpose sometimes. I have to give it to him, he has had more sponsors and opportunities than most drivers I have ever met and he has never won an event or even gotten close. I guess the crash reel advice works.

Mechanics & interior are sick. I just think the outside could have been put together in a cleaner way, not that he's going for a clean looking car or anything but thats just my opinion. But hell, that shit's dope. and who gives a fuck about an aluminum pole ha.

    i WOULD drive it...

    You sir, are absolutely right.

The freaking hinges on those doors are a work of art in themselves. And heavy.

Tracy, you are correct. Alex rules man. He's kickass to talk too, knows his shit and is a great driver. His Hawaiin flip flop driving shoes were pretty funny too.

    This just had me ROFLing.....

on another note... I just want to hear it at wide open throttle it has to sound nasty and probably a little different with the dual exhuast.

I had a sc300 and I dont think they make good race cars simply due to the fact that they are houseboats but for drifting they might be good b/c of the wheelbase

If they are done right, they are actually pretty neat. Dan drifted Ernie Manansala's (NOS Energy) when we were doing the demos for NOPI and he loved it. I think in those cars the suspension set up is pertinent more than any other, because you are right–they are floaty like boats once you put any amount of power to them.

I can see how that would be the case...The sc's look great and mine was very reliable but I found out quickly that they are not cheap to modify (coming from a 240 lol) but there are a lot of quality parts out there if you can pay to play and the gte motor is almost a must b/c the ge's are anemic without boost.

No front bumper cover, the smoke coming off of the back tire is a bit dirty, the RV in the background is sitting a bit crooked and no visor on the helmet........can't like the car because of those reasons.......
