    BOTTOM LINE HERE IS:

He bragged about this to be the "illest of the ATL"

He told people that "this is for high end cars only"

It was NOT close to either of the above.

Everyone who did participate had a good time.

The good time had by the attendees is the most important thing. And it seems that no one is really trashing the cars that were there over the fact that there were a lot of cars there that are NOT high end (including the "organizer").

The other reason why it's being picked on is because this was a highly "publicized" event with quite disappointing results. A new thread every other day about it. And all that came of it was what was pictured?

    Later, QD.

I think the pics are decent for the amount of time put into them and the amount of light, time, etc available to shoot them. I had an awesome time and I am pretty sure 99% if not all of the people that went did and that is ALL that matters IMO.

IA is full of a lot of whinny ass bitches. That is for sure. Maybe there wasnt EXTREME high end cars out there as planned, but this is IA. There are not extreme cars like that on this site anyways. I think it could have used a better name, but was definitely one of the best meets I have ever been to. Way better than any rice fest that is usually at the varsity. We just met there b/c it was a central, easy location. What is so wrong with that? I dont know Sunny personally to say much, but I will say he did an excellent job with putting this on alone.

    The end.

The time you weren't happy with the results he got on your car so you called him on his cell to complain rather then calling the business number? The same time you disputed the CC charge, but never called THE SHOP to let us know you were unhappy...but instead called Scott's cell. Then told me I should get over it because Scott is!! HA Ha. Oh yeah, from what I noticed, the people who are always on here bitching at people, are the ones that rarely come out to car meets.

You know what they say, "If you don't have something good to say, don't say it at all".

IA does LOVE you guys though. :idb:

You've already stated it was your cars name or is it now your new name while in the process of a gender change? You act like you have more estrogen than testosterone so it wouldn't surprise me.

100 percent agreed. Its just an event, he could have named the event DOUBLE D's and people would have complained there were too many chicks with C cups. Get over it. Its not that big of a deal, the people in here complaining about the lackluster photos/event, need to move on and do something other than bitch on an internet forum about some car meet. Good job to the photographers, and good job to Sunni for doing this event.

You are the idiot. You just joined last December - if you can look at a calendar, that is less than a year ago.

Do you think that you have anything better than his WRX? I would love to see this.

Most of your posts have to do with berating someone who actually is attempting to put on an event. What have you done for the scene, besides run your mouth? At least Vteckidd and quickdodge have supported the local scene for a long time, so while I disagree with some of their comments, I can respect them. You are a complete moron though that has no business opening your mouth.

I am one of the vehicles that couldn't make it to this event , due to a family event. However, I managed to encourage 3 of my friends to bring out there cars in place - redr1 (black 911TT), the yellow 911, and the white BMW TT. I did my part, what did you do?

I smoked weed in the morning today for the first time in a while, and haven't gotten anything done, but breakfast was great.

Only nice cars in the pics was the white Evo, the 335i, Supra, and the porsches.

But why does an event organizer or anyone for that matter have to answer to people that werent really involved in any shape or fashion regarding the event. Sure the title of the event may be a little overzealous but the damn backlash in this thread is a little ridiculous and a little over the top even for some of the folks involved. Nobody in this thread had to pay a dime to attend, participate, or view this thread so why does it even matter.

I totally get it now!!!! He called Scott's cell because he could? Because he "knows" him well enough to do so? Thanks for clearing that up.

On topic: I have hosted a ton of events. I know it's really hard. Some advice if you don't mind: It might be better to do a couple of smaller events that live up to your advertising of them. Then the following will grow because people get to be a part of what they expect and maybe more. Next time they will invite their friends, then all of a sudden you had a reputation for hosting events that live up to the standards you tout. Then you can move on to the next level of "high end" cars. I would say don't call it high end again until you have a had a few events where some high end actually show up. Then again, I guess the def. of high end is relative, but the main point remains. Good luck with the next one.

    Holy fucking fighting.

This meet was made from what it seemed to me to be fun, have some nice cars, and have good pics/videos of them taken together. I wasn't there, but I am not all pissy and crying for not being invited.

The pics turned out great, looks like fun, sure there aren't Lambos and stuff, but who ON IA OWNS A LAMBORGHINI?? Maybe saying it was Atlanta's illest wasn't the best, maybe there were some suppose to come and bailed, who knows. Half of you fighting about it don't even own a car as nice as the ones posted.

I see some nice cars in the pics. I know Sunny, he's a cool real friendly guy. I know he puts a lot of time into making events like this, and I give him props for setting this up, it looks very organized and well done. I suspect as more and more happen he will be having even better events then this one.

no problem, i was sure i saw some confusion in there.

desi knows everyone, no point in holding a few small events here and there, you saw his earlier post, he could've had all ferraro's nad lamboz dere. he's mad connected.

Once again, its his event. If someone doesnt get to go for some reason or another, oh well? If it bothered someone that bad, then they need to seek professional help. All Im trying to say is, this was a solo project that him and a crew put together, they can do whatever they want and they dont need to answer to anyone.

Sunny originally wanted to have a high-end and exotic event, sure. A lot of people have "planned" on have one for years. It never works out that way. That's a given. I personally think that he was aiming a little too high; however, for a first time shoot, I think he got in a lot of cars, and if he does a lessons learned on it, he can improve his next shoot, and the one after that, etc. It is always a learning process.

This is not a "first time shoot"

Desi's tried putting together several events, just like this, which have all been failures. He just keeps changing the name so everyone thinks it's different.

No one ever needs to answer to anyone, BUT when you put your stuff out there and especially on a forum where anyone has the availability to comment on it, it is open for critique. Comes with the territory of putting yourself out there. I know this more than anyone. At least he hasn't been called an attention whore for advertising his accomplishments. I have experienced that, but no one puts the 2 and 2 together.

    First step is admitting it!

You're not worth answering. You don't get it.

I agree completely. I was one of the ones he bullshitted about this event. But I only asked because I wanted to see what he'd say. It just seems he should have just told everyone the truth and that it was an invite only meet and not a high end meet when he saw that it wasn't going to be a high end meet after all. I think people are giving him shit because he had everyone thinking/getting ready to see a Cars for Coffee Midnight Cruise/Rally type deal and it looks more like a Cruise after the Varsity meet.

And what bckie said about this not being a first time shoot is on point.

Again, I'm not knocking the event itself or the fun folks had. I'm glad he thought it was successful and everyone had a good time. That's the most important thing in all of this. Later, QD.

I love how i have explained things over and over in previous thread, yet people look over something that makes sense and aim for something completely different to somehow find a way stick something negative in one way or another (my car, my character, my past etc).

How many of y'all know what went in planning, what was planned, what didn't go right, what went right?

I am not hear to clearify nor will I be doing so.
