    i dont even think there are any left.. those cars are almost extinct! The people who have them wont sell, and the rest have been wrecked... good luck! . but there was one guy that had one in the south, he used to come to nopi nationals every year with it.. yeaars ago..

    these things are cool as hell but of course ford decieds to keep every thing out of America even though its an American company. They got a topgear of this wear they put it up against the 22b

    The XR4Ti was an attempt to market the European Ford Sierra in America.

    Ford overhauled the Cossie Escort for 1997. That is when it lost the whale tail and got a face lift.

    Not exactly. I was just posting that so people would know the differnce between the Whale tail and the one that came after.

    Here's Malcolm Wilson's British Rally Championship1994 Escort before he went on to create M Sport (The factory Ford team since 1996).



    To go over, here is a Sierra. It never made a good rally car but was a great touring car. It is a bit larger than the Escort.

    Looks really close to Tim Harvey's 1989 BTCC Champion.


    The Sapphire was a 4dr version.

    No no and ah no! the escort is awd and smaller. the XR4TI is really a Sierra Cosworth which is the bigger and much meaner brother to the escort.
