    99 Crown vic picked it up yesterday still has the lights sirens and the PA system.First one ive ever owned and I love it.

    When I installed mine jason, the cop told me the white strobes are legal as long as you aren't trying to impersonate a cop. but its your word against theirs.

    but red, blue and yellow are illegal still

    Blue and red is strictly off-limits for the average civilian but technically any color on the front of the car that isn't white or yellow is. You also can't drive with any lights on that are above the headlights anyways...with the exception of driving lights on the roof of trucks and semi's.

    Red= Fire/EMS/ Sherriffs Office
    Blue= PD/ Sheriffs office
    Yellow= Road work/ construction/ Tow truck/ must have a permit to run
    Green= Ga Forestry ( though I have never seen one with green strobes)
    White= Caution and no permit needed to run
    Purple= Funeral procession must have permit to run
    Don't ask how i know this its a long story.
