    The ones you listed would have ran in the FX class while the original Thunderbolts ran in the 1964 Super Stock class against the Dodge Hemi Ramchargers team.


    In this picture, you can see how the SS Thunderbolt was given a headstart over the FX class Hemi Dodge.



    Adding....after i did some looking around about this picture...


    It was taken in 1964. I don't think there is a solid axel front end on that car like the ones you posted before it. I'm currently looking through Jalopyjournal to see what specs the 1964/1965 cars ran. 1965 really seems to be the first year of the extreme altered wheelbase funny cars. If there were Tbolts with those specs, they would have come in 1965 and not 1964.
