I've done my share of between the sheetmetal of a door work... I know it's not a walk in the park... hell I may have even just done a door swap myself... doesn't mean that isn't laziness... I spent 2 hours trying to figure out a way to change the alternator in my beetle cause I didn't want to have to go through all the trouble of dropping the engine to do so (It's a royal pain in the arse with digifant on a beetle)... but it didn't work out so well for me and I had to do it the right way anyway
and now i have been 3 mos without my beetle cause i decided to go the right way about everything on it
Whatever makes you happy dude... I just have this thing about paint not matching... so I was curious... most people probably don't even notice it... but it's your car not mine!
