    By that logic, one buys it because it's expensive? I mean I think it'd look cool...in an older European car. It just doesn't seem to fit in most cars I've seen it in with that wood/chrome finish.

    I can understand the functionality though...I know the wheel is pretty big, so it's easy to deliver leverage given such a big diameter.
