small block ford or chevy...way cheap to build and swap in and you can build them to make massive power relatively easy. A friend of mine had an LS1 from a camaro he had with a TH400 trans. It was extremely quick. Just my opinion but it is a little biased.

    3 rotors!!!! 20b ftw!!!

but seriously, LSx are relatively cheaper and easier swaps to do on an FC shell as oppose to the other swaps...

Some mild head work and mild came will get you 450 rwhp. A more aggresive cam and heads will get 500 rwhp, but will not be as street friendly. A stock ls1 can get you deep in the 11s on motor if set up right and still be hell in the twisties.

ls1 ftmfw. It's really just a plug-n-play option in those now. Add to that great aftermarket support and reliability.

pending what u want,u could go with a LT1 the cheap route,be betetr straightline being alot heavier than the 13B or the LS1 for a more balanced car.

What kind of budget are you working with?

LS1 swap is going to be around 5K
3 Rotor your looking upwards of 15K+
RB, 2JZ and Titan motor will all need custom oil pans, and mounts. IDK how long the RB and 2jz are but they might fit between teh firewall and rad support.

Me Id do LSx. Best bang for the buck. BTW I have a 7 waiting on a LS motor
