small block ford or chevy...way cheap to build and swap in and you can build them to make massive power relatively easy. A friend of mine had an LS1 from a camaro he had with a TH400 trans. It was extremely quick. Just my opinion but it is a little biased.

thanks for the input, i have alot of people telling me go LS1.. but ill see what i can do..
