This is when I dropped her off to a nationally recognized SHO mechanic in Dallas, Texas @ 503HP (std)

BODY,.aolmailheader {font-size:10pt; color:black; font-family:Arial;} a.aolmailheader:link {color:blue; text-decoration:underline; font-weight:normal;} a.aolmailheader:visited {color:magenta; text-decoration:underline; font-weight:normal;} a.aolmailheader:active {color:blue; text-decoration:underline; font-weight:normal;} a.aolmailheader:hover {color:blue; text-decoration:underline; font-weight:normal;}

THIS IS NOW:

After the installation of a quaiffe, upgraded fpr, intercooler system, gauges, 96 brake upgrade, wide band, some engine work, a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B

, here she is now.

STILL TO COME:

Tint, System, Alarm, Bigger Wheels, Cowl Hood

For those not familiar with what car this motor is in...

Its just a Taurus.

Nice a real sleeper right there. Have you taken it to the track yet?

I would put some standard Tarus wheels on it. Fill in the "SHO" badges, a even more sleeper status!

Why not?

All (gen 1-2) Ford Taurus SHOs come stock with the 220hp Yamaha motor. I just added a little extra horsepower. Civics weren't meant to be race cars but they get turned into them. Atleast these came with a motor meant for power/speed. (not knockin on you honda guys)

I drove a taurus (non SHO) for the longest time. and I've always wanted to drop that V8 into a regular GL. I've heard that motor had some issues with the heads warping or something like that - any info on that?

And how the hell do you use that power? Anything over 250 and your wheels will be spinning all over the place. You've got 500.

I really like how the exterior is stock! I gotta ride with you in that car sometime.

Incorrect civic's are race cars.CTR was meant for racing!!.

but yes my pal's father has one of these w/out the boost and it rides pretty good and sounds nice.How long does it take you to grocery shop, pick up the kids & be back home?. hahahaahahhaa boost is always nice.

I'm still trying to figure that part out!

Just kidding, I have no idea. The updated pics were sent to me from my mechanic. I still have yet to see/drive it. Now I need to save up and get it shipped here.

When it gets here I'll get it dynoe'd and bring it to some of the meets.

OLD old old old old dyno when the car was a 3.0L before the 3.2L swap.

Its the only one I got right now.
