Default SANTA RUN 2008 "CH@Dbee Is Panning n00Bc@k3"

I did my best to get as many people out on the track as i could but it wasnt easy, i have only done this type of photography once before and that was last years Formula D event and i really sucked it up. Yesterday i didnt have enough layers on was was shivering and shaking most of the day LOL so that didnt make it any easier! If i didnt get a picture of your car, im sorry, i dont hate you or think your car is a POS, i just didnt get a good picture of it.

Feel free to quote this post and then copy and paste these onto other forums that i am not a member of. If anybody want wants 8x10 prints of them on the track shoot me a e-mail at chadbee1982@yahoo

yep, i tried it at formula D last year and havent tried it again till yesterday. needless to say i trashed alot of photos. i was using my 50mm 1.8 and ATLTSX let me borrow some 70-300mm 4.5-5.6 quantaray lens he had with him.

Good work. Many of them are very nice. I have shot 15-20 events that I was panning at and I still have throwaways

It still happens to this day. Learning process.

Next track season I will keep you in the loop. BMWCCA events you can get in FREE at Road Atlanta and pan all you want! I am usually driving so I don't get as many shots as I would like but you can shoot away!

Very nice Chad. I don't know what you're talking about "bad at panning"???? Those are some excellent pics. Great job.

BTW, you damn near took my picture, but you didn't know I was there????? (although you can't see me in the pic, I was sitting down right behind the Supra)

the d40 doesnt have a shutter release does it? you need to go ahead and spend the bite the bullet and get a camera that doesnt have to have AF-S lens to autofocus, you can buy a d50 body kow for like 350 bucks! or get a d80 for like a 100 bucks more.
