he's thinking outside of the box, when there aren't parts readily available ie. fender flares for your particular car you gotta do what you gotta do to get what you want.

so if yokota sees it fit to make some other makes flares fit his legacy with through the use of bondo and some bodywork, then so be it.

his choice of rolling gear is also his choice. what ever size wheels/tires he decides to roll on is his choice and subaru wagon people are generally pretty closed minded on what works, what looks good, and what is the proper fitment. he is going for a very aggressive, very un-orthodox (in the US) that people greatly respect in japan. fitment is a fine science over there.

people have been quick to criticize yokota's choices on all of his cars whether it be his 2 other nissans or this subaru. i'd rather say job well done for being creative and applaud his executions of what he likes. i look forward to the completed product!
