    Fuoss 01 track car

    Autoblog...

Europeans track junkies have one more option vying for their hard-earned cash. Using the same philosophy as vehicles from Lotus, Caterham and KTM, the Fuoss 01 relies on its light weight for acceptable performance. But with only a 40-hp, 400cc Suzuki motorcycle engine motivating the 660-pound one-seater, V-Max is a very limited 90 mph. Regardless, the Fuoss should be an entertaining track tool, particularly with its five-speed sequential transmission cribbed from Suzuki keeping the motor on boil. The driver sits as low as possible and with no heavy roof overhead, mass is centralized down low. Only ten examples are planned for its first year of production in 2009, so if you want one of the €29,000 machines, you'd better act fast.

The wheel base looks way to skinny. Looks like that thing can flip over.

Yeah I would have designed it more formula car like laydown seating, moving everything behind it lower.

Colin Chapman did think of that when he made a special one seater Lotus Eleven cor club racing. Hade the coventry climax motor and looked like an actual car.

That thing looks like a Dyson,

I know that but that car actually looked like a car. This one looks like a taller Kart.

As a sports car it still had to have a spot for seat #2

That would have been something. Would it have been BRG with the yellow wheels?

That thing is a piece. Something tells me the engine is out of a drz400. 40 hp is kind of sad, my dirtbike is a 250cc and makes about 38hp. And what is up with that rear suspension?
