I have a feeling you will pick it up without too much of a problem (if you haven't already).

i highlited 2 body lines from the car in the pic i think if you took a picture where the bottom of the pic was parallel to one of those lines it would accent the line and it would probably look really good. you know what im talking about?
I asked a girl if i could buy her a drink, she said I have a boyfriend, so I said, well i have a goldfish, she said what? I replied, oh I'm sorry I thought we were talking about shit that doesnt matter.

I like the third pic location. Car needs a touch more light though.

    location is the problem.
what i usually do is take a picture where the highlights are just bright enough to be called light, and then use that same exposure on the overexposed side. say you have -5 for your underexposed, then do 0, then do +5. Either way, you've got the concept for what you need in the picture to get it.

a whole slew of people will disagree with me on this, but you can accomplish hdr on a single raw capture, and then adjust your exposure in post.

Photography has nothing to do with the cost of a camera, you can take killer photos with a $200 point & shoot and a tripod.

i like HDR but its one of those things where you throw one in every once in a while. i like all aspects of photography so i try everything at least once.

Yeah I would definitely try to get more lighting in, thats kinda crucial for HDR. Since you are merging pics, sharpness is also key. Great start though!

    Keep it up.
