i totally agree, iv'e been working for GM for almost 2yrs. and i wouldn't buy one if i had all the money in the world. the car looks great, but the lack of thought that goes into the engineering of there car's isn't that great.Damn

I have driven both the STS and CTS. The CTS was quite shitty, the STS was much better. However there is no way in hell I'm buying one. Then again I doubt I'm the target market for that car.
The CTS was the older version (07) and my foot would get STUCK between the brake pedal and the right padding when I try to accelerate - WHAT THE F!!! I wouldnt buy that car for that reason alone - its a freakin hazard.

BTW I dont know where you get your specs but they're wrong.
Its a 4.4L Northstar. 469/439 at 12psi.
Brakes:
Front: 14"x1.25"
Rear: 14.3"x1.1"
