I'm also a fan of all cars. Pretty much the only hobby I have at the moment. I have opinions, I dislike many cars because the ones I've worked on weren't as fun or forgiving as my honda.

I base all other cars off my 2000 Civic Si. I don't like New Si's because of the drive by wire. I dont like the TL because of the price, I like the TSX because of the options and the 2.4 liter 30mpg and it's sexy.

I could compare cars all day. But they're just my opinions and I'm bored and I'm gonna go eat some food.

New TSX will be great as long as it's 4 cylinder motor is kept and not swapped for a v6... I'd very much like it if Honda would make more inline 6 motors.

Unreal and Boring....... So a 1990 generation NSX that which had one of the greatest chassis of all time but was chocked by the now defunct Japan gentleman's agreement of a 276 hp limit, and had to resort to a 3.0 Liter NA v6 instead of using their dominating 1988-1991 Formula 1 experience an making a V8, V10, V12 that would have served that car much better till this day. The $90,000 car with only 300hp debate would have never happened.

now, i definately agree with JITB that the skylines have always been ahead of the curve. i also agree that the new gtr is a very quick car. however, i think the new gtr is overrated. i got the same reaction from the evo guys when i trash talked the evo X. i don't like the fact that car companies are starting to take away the driver connection with the car.
i specifically bought an AP1 because I wanted the stay with the throttle cable system and have good tunability. granted, i want to have a great lap time, i would rather have a slightly slower lap time and enjoy every minute knowing i made the car perform the way it did than to win with computers guiding my way.

umm.. wasnt the 05 ap2 cable throttle? correct me if im wrong, because if thats the reason you bought an ap1 you may have messed up. aside from that, the only reason you should have an ap1 is the higher redline, which was lowered for the ap2, i believe, but again, correct me if im wrong.

Honda has already sworn to never make a production V8. Why? but they blow by it and continue for a production V10.

What exactly is the problem you have with a many piston setup. You do realize that it would be better for a VTec system as well for very high rpms. Like above 8-9K rpm. Just look at the new M3.

as i said, i bought the ap1 for the cable and tunability. the ap2 04-05 had a very hard to deal with computer. you are correct though, the 04-05 were still cable driven. the redline for the ap2 was lowered because honda stepped up to a 2.2L motor and reduced the redline for reliability (however some have argued that 8500 is a more apt number)

My car is worth more than 5k, it was not marketed towards women, but specifically toward men wanting a 4dsc(which I think the maxima never quite lived up to), an E30 would not offer a better driving experience than the gtr, and finally, I'm sure everyone can agree with me on the fact that the driving pleasure form the GTR would be tenfold of a miata. I like miata's, just like I like I like m3's. The gtr is the total package.

the new GTR is nice just not all that great. like all threads about a car once again I.A ppl go way off base and lose touch with what was started. But that makes for a few good laughs so oh well. Thanks for damn good laughs oh btw plz dont always refer to wiki for answer to a damn car question just go to the car makers site and get the info you need.( needed to go off base to fit in)
