If I hadn't sold it already, the GT-R would be at Road Atlanta this weekend at the NASA event running HPDE-4. My GT-2 (640RWHP and Motons) was capable of 1:35's with me driving and a good bit faster with a Pro driver. I have turned 1:35's in my Evo (515AWHP, suspension & brake mods) at Porsche Club events where I was 1-2 seconds faster per lap than 996 GT-3's with Pro drivers at the helm. I have no doubt that the GT-R can turn those times or better, bone STOCK.

I am a Porsche owner and I can confidently say that Nissan has raised the bar for all manufacturers. The GT-R is a fantastic all-around car...drive it daily in all weather conditions, take it to the track and run faster times than most prepared cars, and then drive it home in comfort.

Are you going up there this weekend? I saw a silver e30 M3 with gold magnesium centerlock BBS wheels and a brushed chromoly rollcage with the fuel fillers where the license plate would normally be sitting on a trailer in traffic yesterday headed north and I'm praying that car was going to the event. How's that for a run-on sentence, lol. I'm determined to find it!
