It is not a normal Auto transmission! It is very similar to the DSG in VW's, Shifts faster and more firm than any human can and is very precise

It's not an auto at all and shares no parts with any automatic transmission. It doesn't have a torque converter and valve body, doesn't have all the springs and servo pistons, they aren't big and bulky like automatic transmissions, etc. They are manual transmissions with the clutch disengagement/engagement being computer controlled instead of operated by your foot.

The dual clutch "seamless shift" is the exact same technology used in F1 the last 2 years.

that is true as stated before from a fellow member. It is a manual transmission that has an automated dual clutch system instead of the "normal" clutch system found in today's vehicles

You're telling me the aero package is a $3k+ option?

It's called an Evolution for a reason. Mitsu is always trying to make the Evo better. When they saw what VW did with their DSG, they had to develop their own for the Evo. The handling nothing short of amazing already. Now, the SST clutch makes the car that much smoother to drive. Stock, the X is tuned down from the factory. All you need is a tune to unleash a lot more power on an, otherwise, stock X. Much more potential in this new 4B11 than I thought.

A few minor bolt on's and a good tune and you can easliy pick up 50-90 whp depending on the bolt on's.

From others that have already purchased the MR and performed the bolt on's, they say the car is more amazing with the added power.

Let me go look at the sticker again and get the full break down of the Window sticker as there are other options on the car other than the Aero package.
