i hate to be "that guy" that says something...

but I'm still having a hard time accepting the fact that BabyJ has a snoopy pipe muffler on his super nice CVCC. :/ It almost seems sacreligious - unless there is a reason for it, please tell!

well baby j shoots a good bit of flames out that pipe, i know that now. and it actually sounds really good for that little motor

-- HA HA. Well - for starters, my car is a 1200 - it's not a CVCC, but every1 always assumes that it is. But h3ll, it's not as popular a chassis as new(er) Hondas so we all know what they mean when they say that. H3ll, if some1 even knows what a CVCC is that's good enuff for me... lots of people think it's a Austin-Cooper, Fiat, VW, and everything else under the sun - ha ha.

-- I actually was one of the 1st people to fit a turbo-style (oval) muffler on a 1st gen. You have to stand it up in order to get it welded up. In other words, it's vertical instead of horizontal - that lasted for about 2 weeks and REALLY drags/catches on everything on the road. I have already designed a permanent solution to my custom 2 inch exhaust, but can't be fabbed until the rear bumper gets tucked... so rest-assured, these are humble beginnings for the old hatch.

-- Also - this is the ugliest, slowest, unmodded car that I have ever owned. As long as it's a daily driver, no1 has to worry about any serious mods. As long as it pops up to the V every now and then in "SPOTTED" threads - there is no worries. But when it DOESN'T show up, and it fails to be seen for some time - then you can rest assured that I've started swiping some plastic and gettin' sh*t done - until then, it's a daily beater.

-- LMAO!!! Carburetors FTW. Since we were climbing in altitude I richened up the jets for the trip. Low throttle position or when i release the throttle after having my foot in it, the surplus fuel in the bowl burns off pretty fast.... but after that it has pretty clean exhaust.

There is this car that always parks in the parking lot of the Sugarloaf Publix. It's really nice. I had to stop and drive by it after getting some Taco Bell--late night.
