Day 3

Ron went home the next morning and we all checked out at 11 AM.

Rolled over to IHOP where Mark’s car was.

This is what Mark’s car is sitting like, permanently for the moment.

We got started by getting a ½” plug for the tank in Mark’s car. We concluded at first that the left compressor had died and we wanted to make sure that the tank was still getting air from the right compressor. After we did that we noticed that there wasn’t much air at all in the tank.

We then concluded that the other compressor was on its way out of the door. We made a quick run to Home Depot and got ready to fabricate something makeshift for the tank to receive air from a normal air sourced compressor.

This is what Jordan and I came out with:

Hose
Valve opener/closer
Fittings
Adapters
Pressure gauge
Teflon Tape

Me putting it together.

Installed the gauge

Was able to find a Firestone close by and they were very helpful. Our little fabricated part worked the 1st time! Here’s the result!

So Jordan and I got ready to head home. Mark was ecstatic about the fix and was dying to get home as well. We all parted ways and it was time again for some rolling shots. This time = NO TAPE!

Jordan’s ride back at home

Mine too

All in all it was a great trip! See you all next time!
