Nah, crankwalk is caused by a flaw in the 7bolt motors. Something to do with the oiling of the crankshaft pilot bearing. Basically it doesn't get lubricated well, wears out and allows the crankshaft to move laterally.
I will say this, and people will disagree, but MOST of the cars that had it happen, it happened in the first...eh...80k miles or so. If your car has over that, than your chances of NOT getting it are better, but look out for the symptoms of it, which usually involve clutch issues, like the clutch pedal going to the floor in a LH turn or LOTS of grinds and bad engagement and that kind of thing. Basically, there's pretty much a 50/50 shot of you getting it or not.
